JAKUB WATCHED RILEY walk out of his bedroom, her spine so stiff if she turned at all, it might snap.

He’d lost control of himself when Aiden had sensed mage magic on her. When she’d slept nearly the entire day, he’d invaded her dreams to check on her, and ended up seducing her. He’d needed a cold shower to calm down from just how erotic the dreams had gotten.

After everything they'd shared in their dream, he thought she was ready and understood what she meant to him. But it seemed like she thought they were still her dreams alone, not something she shared with him.
